Two Good Co is a Sydney-based social enterprise that creates high-quality food and products that support, empower and employ women sheltering from homelessness and domestic violence.
A modern interpretation of a traditional Indian Razai quilt, these blankets adapt the artisan technique of Kantha, stitching layers and layers of incredibly soft, fine-count, muslin-like cotton together for warmth.
We modernised a traditional blanket quilting style by magnifying the stitch pattern and pairing this back with a classic Jac+ Jack palette of pale grey and off-white.
Quirky dip-dyed muslin bags in lilac or rust orange tones elevate and add a sense of fun, bright pops of colour that bring joy and lift the spirit.
This project has an excellent synergy between making something that serves a purpose, that is soft to the touch and practical and then making it beautiful and visually uplifting. It’s this feeling that we want to gift to women in refuges; we want them to know that they matter, we want them to feel that they’re safe… and we want them to feel that they’re seen.
The blankets are now available to pre-order on the Two Good Co website and in the Jac+ Jack Bondi, Intersection and Armadale stores from Thursday 11th April.
